This course will help both managers and employees understand the various personal protective equipment that safeguard the employee from hazards in a given workplace. It presents the different types of personal protective equipment and the conditions under which they are effective.  This will help the managers and employees determine the different types of personal protective equipment they would need in their workplace, and how to use and take care of them.  This is a course on general use and handling of Personal Protective Equipment.  This course is not a substitute to using a particular type of PPE supplied by the manufacturer.  Participants must refer to the manufacturers’ guidelines on the proper use and care of that particular PPE.
